Priem, 79, of Cleveland, went home to the Lord on
June 29, 2011.
Charley was born June 20, 1932, in Lawrenceburg,
IN the son of the late Charles and Agnes Priem. He
was the oldest of three siblings. He served as an
officer in the U.S. Army for 26 years with five
overseas tours of duty and retired in 1978. The
same year he moved to Gainesville, GA opening an
accounting practice known as Fricks, Priem &
Associates, a career he enjoyed for 33 years.
Charley was a member of Cornerstone Christian
Church and the Gainesville Lions Club, serving
both as financial advisor.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wanda
Lorrine Bentle Priem; sons and daughters-in-law,
Charles A. and Marsha Priem of Centreville, VA;
Paul D. and Kristine Priem of Loudonville, NY,
daughters and son-in-law, Kasey Priem of Phoenix,
AZ, Beth and Randall Powers of Clermont, GA;
grandchildren Angeline and Charles A. Priem,
Katey, Paul, and Ty Powers; brother and
sister-in-law Andre and Sally Priem; sister and
brother-in-law Palmyre and Hart Gleason.
A Celebration of Life service, with full military
honors, will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at
11:00am at Cornerstone Christian Church, 100
Cornerstone Ct., Dawsonville, GA. Family will
begin receiving visitors at 10:00 am.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that
memorials be directed to Cornerstone Christian

Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502.
