More detail on this person: Parrett, Thomas Searles Parrett, Thomas Searles St. Louis Post-Dispatch (MO) - Sunday, July 6, 2003 PARRETT, THOMAS SEARLES, a veteran of the armed Forces, died (07-03-03) afternoon from cancer in the comfort of his home. He was 58 and a resident of the St Louis area since the 70's. Passionate about his work and well regarded in his industry, Mr. Parrett worked 25 years as a Dairy Consultant. Mr. Parrett served the Navy with heroic distinction as a Helicopter Gunship Pilot during the Vietnam Conflict, earning numerous combat awards, including the Distinguished Flying Cross. After the Service, Mr. Parrett continued his passion for mechanical toys and motor sports in such hobbies as flying, motorcycling and automobile restoration. Most remember Mr. Parrett for his outgoing personality and diligent work ethics. He made friends easily at home or wherever he traveled and will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Parrett is survived by his twin brother, William Parrett, sister Pamela Rabin, and 3 beautiful children; Thomas Michael, 20, Jessica Lynn, 19, and Christopher Ryan, 17. Friends and family will be received by the Parrett family at his home Sunday afternoon, 07-06-03, from 1PM to 5PM. All that knew Tom are welcome.
