More detail on this person: Charles J. Restivo John Heller April 17, 2012 Going to miss you Chuck. It's been a long time since Ft Meade, but a lot of those memories remain. Remember the "Dining In's" at Belvoir? Still have the pictures of our U21 landing at Andrews after the gear failed. Rest in Peace. Pete Quick April 19, 2012 Chuck, I'll always remember you and the times we had at Rucker (the staff study we did in a weekend); Daytona and all the "hard" studying we did and finally Ft Meade, a case of Chivas at Christmas, (airplane bottle size!) went back and forth a couple of years as I recall, and other good times. You will be very much missed. Rest in Peace. April 23, 2012 To All that I have met and those I have not met, but knew Chuck Restivo. He was one of the rare best. I never knew Chuck to have an unkind word for anyone at Tipton Army Airfield, Fort Meade, Maryland. Professionally, he was always the gentleman! But, more than that he was also the professional pilot. I never once ever observed any other attitude from this First Class Army Master Aviator. I will forever miss his communications as we often sent messages back and forth and we will all miss him and Dorothy at VHPA reunions. Very, Very, Sincerely, Allen "Al" G. Warner, CW4 USA Retired Richard A. Sperling June 21, 2012 Hi Matt. Chuck served with me in the 188th AHC and the lovely Dau Tieng, Michelin Rubber Plantation. He, Reed Phillips and I shared a tent. We reconnected years later via the "net" until he suddenly dropped off? I remember him as a true gentlemen, and he will be missed dearly. If you want to connect for a few war stories, my e-mail follows. Dick Sperling; sperli6@comcast.net
