More detail on this person: He is buried at Ft Logan Cemetery.

I never met him. I was in the 498th '67-68, before he got there. I did communicate with him over the internet for several years, and we talked about many pilots over those years (eg, Freddie Fowler). We had very many phone calls also. It was during his pancreatic cancer period. Bill was so interesting to listen to and his emails were loaded with many interesting things about his life. I just thought I should add this. Bill is not forgotten. I never met him, but our contacts over the years certainly made me a friend. I enjoyed my time talking and writing with him. Thanks, Bill!
