More detail on this person: Robert L. Rackley Huntsville Times, The (AL) - Monday, May 26, 2003 Died May 24, 2003 Lt. Col. Robert L. Rackley of Tequesta, Fla. died Saturday. He was 68. Mr. Rackley had been a resident of Tequesta for 12 years coming from Huntsville, Ala. He was a 21-year U.S. Army veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. He received many citations including the Silver Star and served with the Joint Chief of Staff at the Pentagon. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and served as treasurer of their school. Mr. Rackley was a graduate fo Christ School in Arden, N.C., North Carolina State University, and received his MBA at Canisius College, Buffalo, N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Morris Rackley; two sons, Michael Rausch and his wife, Kim of Cincinnati, Ohio and David Rausch of Ponte Vedre, Fla.; one daughter, Elizabeth Gant and her husband Maurice of Huntsville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Vincent Rausch, Emily and Mary Elizabeth Gant; one sister, Julia Woodman and her husband Richard of Atlanta. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 400 Seabrook Rd., Tequesta. Final services and internment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
