More detail on this person: Keith T Reamy Woman found not guilty in 2008 fatal Tulsa crash Tulsa County jurors acquitted a woman of a negligent homicide charge linked to a four-vehicle collision that proved fatal to one driver. The jury found Katherine Z. Chambers not guilty of the misdemeanor, linked to a February 2008 wreck that claimed the life of Keith Reamy, 58. The verdict resolved a trial in Special Judge Cliff Smith's court Thursday. Four cars traveling north around the 4700 block of South Harvard Avenue were involved in a collision in which Chambers' car struck the rear of Reamy's vehicle, which struck the rear of a vehicle that it was behind, testimony indicated. Defense lawyers Sheila Naifeh and Thomas Mortensen denied the prosecution's allegation that reckless driving by Chambers resulted in the death. During a closing argument, Mortensen maintained that the evidence did not establish that the first impact involved the defendant's car, and he contended that it was not proven that the impact involving her vehicle caused Reamy's fatal injury. Chambers, 54, was free on bond awaiting a resolution of the case.-Bill Braun, World staff writer
