Morris Wayne Rogers, 62, Tyler, Texas, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mr. Morris died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, in Tyler. He was born Aug. 3, 1946, in McKinney, Texas, to the late-Milton Morris and Jessie Lee Bell Rogers. He was a retired major in the Army, serving as a pilot in Vietnam. He was a Presbyterian and lived 21 years in Tyler. Survivors include his son and daughterin-law, Shannon Wayne Rogers and Anne, Huffman, Texas; a brother, James Rogers, Arlington, Texas; a granddaughter, Brooke Anne Rogers; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Hutchens Rogers.
