Gerry and I worked together. I was the Aviation
Safety officer; first pilot on scene; confirmed
the crash and initiated the Crash Alarm. Gerry
served as the Operations Officer of the
Maintenance and Aviation Division (MAD) at the
U.S. Army Intelligence Center and school. He was
within days of retirement. It was a tragic loss.
