More detail on this person: Anthony W Referda, 73 Obituaries Las Vegas Review-Journal (NV) - Wednesday, January 18, 2006 Anthony W. Referda, 73, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. He was born March 22, 1932, in Chicago, and resided in Nevada for eight years. Anthony was a retired budget analyst. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and retired as a major after 20 years. But, most of all, he was a man with a heart of gold. Anthony is survived by his sister, Elinore Larson; niece, Beverly Hendrie; nephew, Michael Larson; great nephew, Nicholas Walker; and stepson, Tom Lane and his family. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at St. Thomas More Catholic Community, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, Calif. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association. Arrangements were handled by Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
