PAULS - Joseph Talmadge Robbins Sr., 76, of St. Pauls, entered into eternal rest on May 26, 2013, while at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. His homegoing celebration will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Great Marsh Baptist Church in St. Pauls, Pastor Don Goforth officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by his sons, Grover Foster Robbins, William Henry Robbins, David James Robbins, Luther Robbins, Winfred L. Robbins; and a sister, Clydie Robbins Morrow. Robbins was a Vietnam veteran, pilot, an engineer, teacher, insurance agent and a manager with Liberty Life Insurance Company, a Master Mason, member of the DAV, and member of the Airline Pilots Association. He is survived by his wife, Eula M. Robbins; four sons, David Robbins, Allen D. Robbins, Frank Robbins, Randy Johnson; his daughters, Edith Ann Burke, Katherine White; three sisters, Irene R. Adams, Elise Galloway, Helen R. Bailey; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
