More detail on this person: Mr David Lee Robinson, 60 David Lee Robinson Reporter, The (Vacaville, CA) - Friday, April 7, 2006 April 6, 1945 - April 2, 2006 A celebration of life for David Lee Robinson, 60, of Vacaville, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Christian Church of Vacaville on Vine Street, Vacaville. Pastor Su Schlagel will officiate. Inurnment will be private. Mr. Robinson passed away April 2, 2006, in Sutter General Hospital, Sacramento following a brief illness. Born April 6, 1945, in Pomona, he was a resident of Vacaville for 25 years. He had been a correctional officer, employed with the State of California, assigned to the California Medical Facility in Vacaville for 24 years. He had also done a tour of duty with the United States Army with the rank of chief warrant officer and had served in Vietnam where he flew helicopters. He was an air traffic controller until 1981. He was a member of the California Correctional Peace Officers Association and a member of the Christian Church of Vacaville, Disciples of Christ, American Baptist. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lillian of Vacaville; son, Mark and his wife, Melissa, of Shepard AFB, Texas; sister-in-law, Cindy Robinson of Laguna Beach; three grandchildren; and several cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Christian Church of Vacaville, 66 Vine St., Vacaville, 95688, in David's name.
