More detail on this person: Glendon T. Rowen
and Keith Reider died in the same accident, a
UH-1C model crash at Ft. Riley when our
C/158/101st was still the 297th so they never
made it to Viet Nam. It was on a day we were
practicing for either President Eisenhouer's
potential burial or Chief ( the last horse
registered in the Cavalry ) Ft. Riley of course
was the home of the actual horse Cavalry. This information was last updated 05/04/2020

Glen was going to ask his girlfriend who was
coming to visit with his parents to marry him and
he and I went to Kansas City to get an engagement
ring the weekend before his crash. His parents
came to visit since everything was already
arranged.
