More detail on this person: Douglas C Stenberg, 53 Douglas C. Stenberg Patriot-News, The (Harrisburg, PA) - Tuesday, February 15, 2000 PALMYRA -- Douglas C. Stenberg, 53, of Palmyra, died Sunday in Hershey Medical Center. He was a corporate pilot for HARSCO; retired from the Army National Guard and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War; was a graduate of Southern Illinois University; and a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. He attended the Church of the Holy Spirit, played on its softball team and was an avid baseball fan and golfer. Surviving are his wife, Mary Noel Feldman Stenberg; a daughter, Johanna B., and two sons, Justin A. and Ryan D., all of Palmyra; and a brother, Terry of White Bear, Minn. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17 in his church. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Holy Spirit, 245 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078, or Lebanon Catholic High School, 14 Chestnut St., Lebanon 17042.
