More detail on this person: Charles "Chuck" William Sellers, Jr. Charles "Chuck" William Sellers, Jr. passed away on January 22, 2009 in his home. He was 63 years old. Chuck was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 3, 1945. He served in the US Army as a helicopter pilot during Vietnam. After his retirement from the National Guard in 2001, Chuck continued flying in the civilian private sector until his illness forced him into permanent retirement. He is survived by his wife Rebecca "Becky" J. Sellers of Gilbert, One son Bradley E. Sellers of Florida and stepson Jesse J. Harbach of Arizona, One Daughter Ditta A Sellers of Florida, and three stepdaughters Jamie R. Mezosi, Jill A. Moore of Arizona and Joni S. Thompson of Iowa. One brother Keith Sellers of Arizona and One sister Gayle Pike of Arizona, Eight grandchildren Tatum, Brooke, and Blake Mezosi, Abby Sellers, Jillian and Randy Thompson, Logan Sellers and Ivy Moore. Chuck was an avid pilot both during his service to his country and civil aviation. He was a member of the VHPA Vietnam Helicopter Pilot Association, The American Legion Post # 39, American Legion Riders (ALR), Harley Owners Group (HOG), National Rifle Association, Veterans of Foreign War (VFW), US Warrant Officers Association (USWOA) and Aircraft Owners Pilot Association (AOPA). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Falconer Funeral Home located at 251 W. Juniper Ave, Gilbert, AZ.
