More detail on this person: Craig Schwalenberg Sky diver's parachute opened before death OSHKOSH - A preliminary investigation showed nothing wrong with the parachute worn by a sky diver who plunged to his death, authorities said Sunday. Craig Schwalenberg, 47, Oshkosh, was killed Saturday at the Para-Naut Skydiving Club near Highway 21 in the Town of Omro, according to the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department. His parachute opened but he evidently lost control of his descent, Winnebago County Coroner Jane Van De Hey said. Eyewitnesses saw his parachute open and then he began spinning wildly.
