More detail on this person: Charles W. (Chuck) Smith passed away at home in Chancellor, Al. on Friday December 20, 2019 after a long and lustrous flight career. Chuck virtually flew all over the world. His last assignment,for 23 years, was as a DAC at Fort Rucker. He instructed in Contact & NVG in the TH-67 & the OH 58 A/C. He was awarded the 10,000 hour pin from Bell Helicopter. And he received a 15,000 hour accident free award upon his retirement. Chuck is survived by his wife Pat, Two sons, their wives and several grandchildren.
