More detail on this person: Charles Henry Snead Sr Charles Henry Snead Sr., 62 of Ringold passed away Wednes-day, Feb. 18, 2009, at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born June 5, 1946, in Golden, the son of Doyle and Rosalie (Bean) Snead. Charles served in the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam vet-eran, while stationed in Korea he served as the Commanding Gen-eral's personal pilot and he re-tired as a Chief Warrant 2. Charles was affiliated with the Mormon Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing karaoke, flying helicopters and fixed wing aircrafts. Charles was a man who enjoyed life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Rosalie Snead; grandparents, Ross and Luella Bean; nephew, Ross Ed-ward Snead and several aunts and uncles. Charles is survived by two daughters, Sherry Bullard and husband, Shane, Paris, Texas, and Teresa Scarberry and hus-band David, Bennington; one son, Charles Henry Snead Jr., Ringold; the mother of his chil-dren, Elizabeth Seymour, Broken Bow; three brothers, Ross Ken-drick Snead, Ringold, Arthur Lynn Snead, Rio Dell, Calif., and Jerry Snead, Lanthroop, Calif.,; two sisters, Bessie Snead, Phoe-nix, Ariz., and Barbara Byrd, Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchil-dren, Mark Kugle Jr., Charles Kendrick Snead, Jennifer Scar-berry, Ty Corley, Sara Snead, Sadie Snead and Suzanna Snead; aunts and uncles, Betty and Elmer Roberts, Durant, and Lu-ther and Mary Bean, Malta, Texas; special friends, Michael and Shacey Westbrook and a host of other friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday Feb. 23, 2009, at Good News Fellowship, Broken Bow. Interment will follow at Watson Cemetery at Oak Hill, Oak Hill community. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Brum-ley Funeral Home, Broken Bow.
