"Donnie" Shearer, 70, of Landisburg passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Harrisburg Hospital. He was a retired 21-year Army veteran and the former co-owner of North Mountain Inn, Carlisle; Red Rock Restaurant, Loysville and a school bus driver for the West Perry School District, Elliottsburg. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, April 13 at Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Rd., Loysville with the Rev. Paul Albert officiating. Viewing will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Military honors by New Bloomfield VFW Post 7463 will be performed at 4:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
