He is survived by his wife, Carol S. Stanley of Sacramento, Calif.; his mother, Curline Stanley of Alice; two children, Teresa Hisamoto and Louis D. Stanley; three grandsons, Nathan, Garrett and Jaxx Hisamoto, all of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Sue Atkins of Tilden and Barbara Abbott of Plainfield, Ind.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Alice.
