More detail on this person: William "Bill" Sexton (CW2, U.S. Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died late Saturday afternoon, April 17, 2021 in a Dothan hospital. He was 88. Celebration of Life Services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the Stonebridge Church of God. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the services at the church. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Sexton was born March 6, 1933 in Blountstown, Florida. He joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War and Vietnam War. Mr. Sexton was retired from the United States Army and was a fixed wing and a Huey Helicopter Pilot. He was a member of Stonebridge Church of God. Mr. Sexton was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sexton and Versie Mae Eldridge Sexton; a daughter, Kathy Rane Sexton; brothers, James Sexton, Cary Sexton, Joe Sexton, Fayne Sexton, and Jimmy Sexton.
