More detail on this person: Dan Philip Sloan, 57 OBITUARIES Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) - Wednesday, March 1, 2006 Dan Philip Sloan, Sarasota, and formerly of Bradenton, died Feb. 26, 2006. He was born April 19, 1948, in Caribou, Maine, and came to Bradenton 30 years ago from Limestone, Maine. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of South Florida. Survivors include his wife, Paula; daughters Terry Goeh-ring, Kristy Nichols and Jennifer, all of Sarasota; a stepson, Christopher Milenke of Sarasota; a sister, Deborah Libby of North Monmouth, Maine; a brother, David of Presque Isle, Maine; and four grandchildren. No services are planned. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to All Children's Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 3142, St. Petersburg, FL 33731.
