More detail on this person: Gary G. Sanders Gary G. Sanders, 65, of Rock Falls, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, Ill. He was born Dec. 21, 1944 in Gettysburg, the son of James and Martha (Fleming) Sanders. He is survived by his companion of 27 years, Kyong Kim of Rock Falls, Ill.; a sister, Glenda (Paul) Boyd of Morton, Ill.; four brothers, Larry (Cheri) McGarvey of Elmhurst, Ill., James (Kimberly) McGarvey of Virginia, Ill., and Donald and Cecil McGarvey. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, Jan. 17, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, Ill. A brief time of sharing will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home, with military honors immediately following.
