He was born in Chevrolet, Ky., and was a retired Army lieutenant colonel, serving in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Karen; a son, David, Old Hickory, Tenn.; a daughter, Gwen Wiggens, New Port Richey; his mother, Lucille Broaderick, and a sister, Joyce Hill, both of Tampa; and two grandchildren. Neptune Society, St. Petersburg.
