More detail on this person: Wendell Ray Shank NAMPA - Funeral services for Wendell Ray Shank, 27, of 416 Fourth Ave. S., who died at his home Sunday evening, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John V. Silliker, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Karcher Road. Mr. Shank was born Sept. 27, 1942, at Kansas City, Kan., and was reared at Nampa, attending Nampa schools. He attended the University of Idaho for five years, graduating with a bachelor of architecture degree. He was married to Elaine B. Parrish, in December of 1962, and they lived at Moscow while he attended college. Following that, he entered the U.S. Army, and served for a year in Vietnam. They returned in 1968 to Nampa, where he had since made his home. He was employed by the Kolbo & Thompson Architects firm as an apprentice architect. In the past, he had been associated with the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects. He was serving with the National Guard unit at Boise. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elaine B. Shank of Nampa; one daughter, Bonnie Shank of Nampa, three sons, Kevin, Steven, and Gordon Shank, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond B. Shank of Reedly, Calif.; one brother, Derwyn Shank of Nampa; and by two sisters, Edmina Beisly of Boise and Yvonne Shank of Reedley, Calif.
