More detail on this person: Don was killed in a fixed wing aircraft in Dale Hollow, Tennessee on June 23, 1972. He was a commercial pilot working for a physician's group (flew fixed wing and helicopter for them) and we lived in Nashville, Tennessee. He had one son, Scott, who had just celebrated his first birthday. I have never remarried. After all the stress and anxiety of Nam, this was a terrible tragedy.

From: Elaine Shinkle

Donald A Shinkle had two sons - Scott from his second marriage and from an earlier marriage Mark Fox. (Fox from his mothers second husband who adopted Mark).

I am Mark's daughter, Donald A Shinkle's granddaughter.
