Survivors include his wife, Edith Smith; daughters, Noelle Duden of Davenport, Wash., Micah Rayner of West Des Moines, Iowa, Mia Roseberry of Vista and Lisa Martin of Boone, Iowa; son, Lane Smith of Northridge; sister, Joanne Krug of Boone, Iowa; brother, James Smith of Johnston, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
