More detail on this person: Floyd served at least two tours in Vietnam and was awarded an Air Medal with Gold Star, Purple Heart, and a Distinguished Flying Cross. He graduated from the Naval Air Station in Pensacola on May 10, 1963. He served in Vietnam with the the Marine Corps HMM 361 from 1 April 1966 to 29 June 1966. A second tour was served with the Marine Medium Helicopter Helicopter Squadron 165 from 25 February 1969 to 2 August 1969.
