Steadman, Dexter Thomas, b. 01/29/1944, d. 09/21/1986, US Marine Corps, CAPT, Res: Pensacola, FL, Plot: 35 0 1754, bur. 09/23/1986

He was about 6 or 7 months ahead of me in flight school... a MarCad (Marine Cadet) Class 14 1965 (I was in Class 44 1965 and received my commision and wings May 12 1967) ... not sure when he got his wings, but he would have been there late spring I would think when he got there to late spring/summer '67 to '68 if it was a full tour.. ours were 13 months... mine was the full tour I know guys that were in 362 when he was there but not sure of the exact dates.. I know they were based either on an LPH like we all did (rotate on and off the ship), but while I was in country Sept '67 through Oct '68 they were based at Phu Bai.
