Szucsik, 61, of Natick, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at his home. He was the husband of Stacy Szucsik. Born in Trenton, N.J., he was a resident there for most of his life before moving to Natick. He was a 1967 graduate of Rider University with a degree in business administration. He was a Vietnam War veteran, having served from 1968 to 1972. He received the Bronze Star and was discharged with the rank of captain. Mr. Szucsik was a former employee of The Wall Street Journal, Bay Bank of Boston and Fleet Bank of Boston. Recently, he was a self-employed home repairman. Besides his wife, he leaves his best friend and loving daughter, Amanda Mary Szucsik of Irvine, Calif.; his brother and sister-inlaw, Joseph F. and Cynthia Szucsik of Jacobstown, N.J.; his nephew, Joseph Szucsik III of Hamilton, N.J.; three cousins and their wives, George and Julia Szucsik of Florida, John and Barbara Szucsik of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Stephen and Margaret Szucsik of New Jersey. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, March 19, at 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, 626 South Olden Ave., Trenton, N.J. Burial will take place in Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J. Visiting hours are Sunday, March 18, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Rogers Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton. The family request donations in memory of John be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
