More detail on this person: Robert K Slonecker Nebraskan Killed at Alabama Base Ozark, Ala. (UPI) - A Lincoln, Neb., man assigned to Ft. Rucker in southeast Alabama was killed in a traffic accident during the weekend. A Ft. Rucker spokesman said Robert K. Slonecker, 33, was the driver of a car pulled from a creek on the military property. Officers said Slonecker's car swerved off the road, hit a utility pole, and plunged into the creek. He was assigned to the Army Aviation School at Ft. Rucker. His widow and four children lived on the military base.
