More detail on this person: LCDR Jimmy Roscoe Savage LCDR Jimmy Roscoe Savage was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran and Navy helicopter pilot attached to Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three, HA(L)-3 from 1967-1968 where he was awarded the Silver Star; Distinguished Flying Cross; 27 Air Medals; Purple Heart; Navy Achievement Medal, 2 Presidential Unit Citations; 2 Navy Unit Citations; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal (w/3 bronze stars); Vietnam Gallantry Cross Medal (w/Gold and Silver Stars); Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation; Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation; and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was also awarded the Antartica Service Medal (w/Silver Cluster) from VXE6 where he "Wintered Over".
