More detail on this person: Mike Thomas passed away on December 27, 2007, at 10:30 p.m. after battling cancer. For the last 22 years Mike resided in Rocklin. He proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Army as a helicopter pilot, serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam War, retiring as a LTC. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, always with his faithful labs. He enjoyed a second career in real estate working 15 years for Buzz Oats Management Services where he was affectionately known as Mr. T. Mike is survived by the love of his life and best freind Barbara, his wife of 42 years. He will lovingly and fondly be remembered by his daughters Michelle, Christina, and Linda; his sons-in-law Jason, Kurtis and Robert; grandchildren Austin, Devin, Braedin and JT. He is survived by his mother Hazel and sister Sandy. Also survived by his mother-in-law Dorothy and sister-in-law Terri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Harry. He was buried at the V. A. National Cemetery in Dixon.
