More detail on this person: Robert Johann Thams, 46 OBITUARIES Denver Post, The (CO) - Friday, September 8, 1995 Robert Johann Thams of Northglenn, a pilot, died Aug. 28 in Wheat Ridge. He was 46. Memorial services were Aug. 31 at Olinger Wadsworth Chapel. There was cremation. He was born June 29, 1949, in Amsterdam, N.Y. He received a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. Thams served in the Army during the Vietnam War. On Jan. 28, 1983, he married Jo Ellen Kenyon, in Plymouth, Mich. He is survived by his wife; a son, Peter; his mother, Lucille; his father, Robert; four brothers, Paul, Pete, Bill and Jim; and four sisters, Karen, Marta, Meg and Fredi.
