More detail on this person: Alfred Bryant Tallman III (Fred), of Severna Park, MD died after battling a serious bout with cancer on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Perry Point Veterans Medical Center in Perry Point, MD. He was 65. He was born on December 4, 1949 in Hamburg, NY. He attended North Hagerstown High School and Duke University before enlisting in the U.S. Army. In the Army he, served from 1969-1971 and was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and was rewarded with a Distinguished Flying Cross and a Bronze Star. A unique soul, Fred was very funny, and enjoyed playing golf as a recreational past time. He will be greatly missed. Fred is survived by his mother, Jean Prather Tallman of Severna Park, MD; his brother, Thomas Tallman of Vista, CA; as well as 3 nieces and 2 nephews.

A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena MD, 21122.
