More detail on this person: Robert Bartow Terry Robert Terry, Jr. Athens Banner-Herald (GA) - Wednesday, April 25, 2001 Robert Bartow Terry, Jr., 58, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Terry was a son of the late Robert Bartow Terry, Sr. and Hilda Weatherly Terry. He was a retired Col. in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He flew helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, and was on the design team of the OH58-D OSPREY. He was a graduate of North Georgia College. He was also a member of Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson Chapter and Harley Owners Group Association of North Georgia. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Loganville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor David E. McDonald officiating. Burial will follow the service with full military honors. Survivors include his wife, Paula Kay Gomez Terry; two sons, Eric Terry, Virginia Beach, Va., and David Terry, Atlanta; a step-daughter, Shauna Jones, Loganville; a step-son, Justin Jones, Loganville; two sisters, Shirley Terry Davis, Athens, and Lynn Garrett, Marietta; a brother, Thomas R. Terry, Athens; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerry Garrett, Jimmy Ginn, Jerry Ginn, Dale Berg, Jim Hall, and Mike Koskie. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home.
