More detail on this person: Lt. Colonel James S Villotti USAF (Ret.) died April 20, 2019. He was born in Crested Butte, Colorado on December 2, 1929. Lt. Colonel VIllotti retired from the Air Force after 30 years of service. A highly decorated pilot, Lt. Colonel Villotti served in Vietnam and was the recipient of the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Corss (3 oak leaf clusters), Meritorious Service Award, Air Medal (1 silver oak leaf cluster 1 bronze oak leaf cluster), Air Commendation Medal, Nation Defense, Vietnam Service and Armed Forces awards, Vietnam Gallantry Cross and Vietnam Campaign medal. He also received the Presidential Unit Citation, the Air Outstanding Unit Award ("V" for valor, 1 oak leaf cluster), Air Force Longevity award (2 oak leaf clusters) and the Armed Forces Small Arms Expert. He was married to Adrienne (nee Kachinsky) on July 17, 1953. He was preceded in death by his son Eric and his parents Joseph and Margaret (nee Klarich). He is survived by his wife and sons Paul (Felicia), John (Nanci), daughters Anne Duquette (Roger), Lisa Hanley and Mara Elliottt, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to garsinisefoundation.org (for disabled vets) or in the form of Masses. A funeral will be held at 9:30am, Thursday, April 2019 at Holy Childhood of Jesus Catholic Church in Mascoutah, IL with Msgr. William Hitpas celebrating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
