More detail on this person: WALLACE WAYNE WYATT, 66, passed from this world to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 24, 2014, in Pearland, Texas. He is survived by his loving family, constant companion and wife of 48 years, Judy Wyatt, daughter Rhonda and her husband Terry Kirksey, son Wallace Wayne Wyatt, Jr. and his wife Tamra Connevey Wyatt; Grandchildren, who were the highlight of his life, Hannah Morgan Kirksey, Cody Wayne Wyatt, Zachary Christian Kirksey, Kayla Mae Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Lois Wyatt, and his sister Lois June Wyatt, all of El Dorado, Arkansas. Wayne was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on June 17, 1947. He attended El Dorado High School graduating in 1965, continuing his education at Harding University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1969. He then chose to serve his country by enlisting in the Army and became a decorated aviator, flying the Cobra helicopter gunship, obtaining the rank of Captain. His full-time Army service was from 1969-1972, including a tour in Viet Nam. He continued his service in the Army National Guard and gained his Master's Degree from Louisiana Tech University in1976. Wayne returned to active duty for a period of time, when he was accepted into Apache helicopter flight school; in 1990. Wayne was able to achieve all of these accomplishments while making a career in the oil and gas industry, being a HUSBAND and DOTING FATHER then able to retired in 2013. Wayne had many accomplishments in life; but boasted of nothing, except of his love of God, family and friends. Our Father held a strong unwavering commitment to the Southeast Church of Christ. His greatest joy came from the additions of grandchildren to the Wyatt and Kirksey clans. Hannah, Cody, Zachary and Kayla were the brightest star in Wayne's life. He cherished many memories and good times with each of them and wished the best futures and blessings for them as their lives continue. Wayne's friends were held dear to him whether they were near or far. He was always willing to open his home to anyone in need or accept the call to care for someone who had fallen on hard times. All the while he and Judy would accept no accolades but carry on their lives with an open heart to others. No one was more committed to his Lord and family than he. Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N.
