 The following from J. Riseden July 1992 on William Raymond Hartwell: The co pilot was 1Lt. Glenn D. "Duke" Rohnett, Crew Chief was John Charles Tingley (KIA), gunner was SP4 Stephen M. Chiles. Childs removed all from wreckage, evaded NVA, called in rescue with pilot's emergency radio. Tingley killed by ground fire during extraction.
