Additional information about this casualty:
He was a CW2 at the time of his death. He had been in the US for about a year before joining the 92 AHC at Ft. Carson, Colorado and subsequently going to VN with the unit in Nov of 67. He was killed in a night mission after being in country for only a couple of weeks. He was my room mate. Maj. Goodspeed was the AC of that fatal flight. He was the platoon leader.
