Additional information about this casualty:
The 191st had just been formed - with Capt Kidd heading up the Armed Platoon - but their helo's hadn't gotten in country yet. Looks like both of them wanted to get into the action and talked D/3/5 into letting them get some experience. Kidd & Dodson were the 191st's first casualties - even before their equipment got over there.
