Additional information about this casualty:
While at Duc Hoa on an ash and trash mission they were told there was a bunch of unarmed VC in the open. They jumped in the Huey and flew out with only their M-60s. Unfortunately at least one of the VC had a weapon and hosed down the ship. WO1 Miller was hit in the head with one round and killed. WO1 Bill Merkley was the other pilot. He took the controls and got the ship back to Duc Hoa. It was full of holes and out of fuel. The CE was SP4 Butch Schook but I don't recall the name of the gunner.
