Additional information about this casualty:
SP5 David Miles, SSG Kerr, and WO1 Robertson were making 'bunker bombs' in the armorer's shack at Tay Ninh. They crewed a LOH together. They would remove the fuzes from two captured 82mm mortar rounds and tape these to an American frag grenade. Dave decided to go take a shower. Three or four minutes later there was an explosion. The other two died. Dave said there wasn't much left of them.
