Additional information about this casualty:
The HMM-262 website states that he arrived in Vietnam for his second combat tour on June 29, 1968. He was dark and slim, polite and very reserved, almost grave in manner. He was an extremely competent pilot. He was the aircraft commander of CH-46D buno 152557 which crashed on land due to hostile causes.
