Additional information about this casualty:
Following landing on a resupply mission, Lance exited his aircraft and went forward of the aircraft crossing over some perimeter wires. During the night the NVA/VC must have reversed some claymore mines. Lance tripped the wire and a claymore mine virtually cut him in two. He survived and was hospitalized and died of pneumonia during recovery. from Lee Pisdone, Jr. 4 July 1993
