Small Arms/Automatic Weapons; Gun launched non-explosive ballistic projectiles less than 20 mm in size. (7.62MM)
The helicopter was hit in the Forward area
Systems damaged were: MAIN ROTOR SYS
Casualties = 01 KIA . .
The helicopter Continued Flight.
The aircraft continued and accomplished all mission objectives.

War Story:
The helo tail number was 63-8707, Outlaw 11 "Sugar Foot". Dennis was KIA on June 29, 1965 while flying as a door gunner with the Outlaws. He had only been in country 20 days. He was part of a "shotgun group" from the 25th INF sent over to be door gunners.
