Hit a mountain in bad weather when en route Pakse-Ban Thateng (PS-28) near Pakse (L-11), Laos, on 8 August 67 and crashed into the cliff at coordinates XC435045, killing the pilot, Capt. John J. Cooney, and the flight mechanic, Earle E. Bruce Jr .
Air America serial was H-43, 153130 was the previous BuNo in USMC.
