War Story:
I was the fire team lead at the time of Griffin's death and he was my co-pilot. We were flying a UH-1B gunship. The aircraft number is really unknown, but I can tell you from my log books that he died in a B model with tail number of either 588, 581, 011, 715, or 901. Can not remember which one, for I flew all of them in the 4 or 5 days (3 where totaled). LAWRENCE F. McDONALD, CW4 U.S.ARMY (RET), LASUMS@AOL.COM
