War Story:
PFC DAVIDSON was killed at 0115 on 11 April from an accidental gun shot wound. Death was reported to 3rd MarDiv and logged at 0224 on 11 Apr. Report is explicit with respect to the intent that his body would be evacuated on the morning medevac helicopter. 3rd Tank Bn S1 log separately agrees death at 0115 on 11 Apr. The mid-air was at 0800 on 11 Apr so Davidson was already was a ground casuality not an air casualty.
