War Story:
On David Morris, I was with first recon team to respond to Dave going down in open field after taking fire near Song Be. When we arrived on scene all three crew members were alive taking cover behind aircraft. With supporting cover fire Dave Morris, Jerry Hill(ob), and Sgt Trantum(gunner) tried to move about 50 yards to cover. Dave and Jerry were killed by enemy fire, Sgt Trantum made it to a river bank and was picked up in water by helicopter.
