25th Avn Bn ops log Texas Tech 13680236001a.pdf p32 #24 reports the acft down at XT488144. The Defense Intelligence Agency has UTM of XT475107. The 25th Avn location is about 4 KM N-NE of the VHPA location.
b. 25th Avn log says the acft exploded in flight at 1000 feet - "Acft was hit by artillery shell".
